At the Violet Foundation, a 501(C)3 charitable organization, we like to think of ourselves as the first ever organization exclusively dedicated to the advancement of precision medicine. We are pioneers in an exciting new field of medicine and technology, and we see a world in which patients can receive individual treatment for their disease though an affordable customized treatment based on their own genetics, lifestyle and environmental factors.

 

The science and technology in this exciting area of medicine and technology is complex, but our goal is simple- we educate, we help fund research, and raise awareness for the next generation of medicine to find the best possible outcome for each individual patient.

With 17 years of media, technology, management experience, Mr. Chacko brings his passion & enthusiasm, foreword thinking, advanced technology & courageous decision making skills to all of Violet Foundation's initiatives. He founded Violet foundation with one and only mission to make cancer history by accelerating modern day cancer research through the use of advanced breakthrough innovations and educating the younger generation the importance of living a healthy and balanced life style especially to avoid behavior based diseases and to provide awareness on early detection.

Nikko serves as Senior Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing for CompanionDx Reference Lab, a high-complexity CLIA-certified laboratory specializing in pharmacogenomics, cancer companion diagnostics, targeted next-generation sequencing,  epigenomics testing, and therapeutic drug monitoring.  In this role, he leads the global commercialization efforts across all therapeutic areas and channels, with a primary focus on oncology.

 

Prior to joining CompanionDx, Nikko served as Vice President of Cardinal Health Specialty’s VitalSource Group Purchasing Organization and led the strategy and growth of this business with Oncology-Urology-Rheumatology providers, pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturers. In addition, he led the build-out of Cardinal Health Specialty’s Urology division as General Manager/Head, which has become the nation’s market share leader in the industry. He has held various executive management positions in sales, marketing, strategy and operations during the past 20 years within the pharmaceutical-biotech industry. He served as Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Services with Supernova, a pharmaceutical marketing agency; Vice President and Executive Director of Corporate Accounts and New Business Development with the International Oncology Network (ION), an AmerisourceBergen Specialty Group business; and Director of U.S. Radiopharmaceutical Operations with Mallinckrodt, Inc., a Tyco Healthcare business.

 

Nikko earned a bachelor’s of science degree in pharmacy from the University of Sciences in Philadelphia and executive Master’s certificates in marketing and strategy from Tulane University and University of Notre Dame.

STACEY LITTLE

Stacey is the Vice President of Marketing & Communication for CompanionDx Reference Lab with responsibility for global market vision and positioning strategy in the U.S. and international markets. Prior to joining CompanionDx she served as Senior Director of Marketing at Sonexus Health—which was recently acquired by Cardinal Health— with responsibility for the enterprise product offerings, optimization of messaging and branding, and establishing new and deeper customer penetration strategies with key customers.  Her prior roles include Director of Brand Management and Manager of Corporate Marketing for AmerisourceBergen. She is an award winning creative director and is an expert in Brand and Marketing Strategy.

PRATEESH VARGHESE, PharmD, MBA

Mr. Varghese has worked as a pharmacist in various settings including retail, hospital, industry and R&D.

 

After completing his Executive MBA, he was given the opportunity to create and lead a national team of MSLs who drive clinical conviction and market adoption of pharmacogenomics. I helped launch a national education series called CONverge - to further increase the adoption of pharmacogenomics in routine patient care. Additionally, I have been actively involved in the execution of one of the largest pharmacogenomics clinical trials to date: UPGRADE (found on Clinicaltrials.gov).

 

In his new role, he hope to create relationships with key thought leaders in industry that share the vision of advancing personalized medicine. Through clinical trials and the development of novel companion diagnostic tests, we can make personalized medicine a reality!

DR. PRATHEESH SATHYAN PhD

Board of Director, Violet Foundation

 

Dr. Sathyan completed his PhD in neural stem cell development, stroke and spinal cord injuries at Texas A&M University. While at A&M, he served as a member of the student advisory board to the President of Texas A&M Health Science Center and also served as the vice president of the graduate student organization. Dr. Sathyan was recognized for his significant research contributions by being awarded with the outstanding researcher award at Texas A&M Health Science Center.

 

Most recently, Dr. Sathyan completed a Global clinical scholar's research program from Harvard Medical School which has helped him to develop a deep understanding of clinical research. Over preceding 4 years, he also worked at MD Anderson where he focused on identifying clinically relevant therapeutic targets for brain tumors. Dr. Sathyan brings with him a wealth of knowledge analyzing large datasets like the TCGA (The Cancer Genome Atlas) and TCIA (The Cancer Imaging Atlas) for identifying genomic components associated with a particular imaging phenotype in cancer patients.

Roderick brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience and a proven track record of operational leadership, strategic development, revenue cycle generation, team building, as well as financial and relationship management.  He has held a variety of senior management roles in sales, strategic marketing, B2B, contracting and operations within the pharmaceutical-biotech-oncology industry.

 

Most recently Roderick served as AVP, Business Development at Accelovance, a CRO.  His prior roles include VP of Health System Solutions for AmerisourceBergen Corporation, Director of Corporate Accounts at International Oncology Network, an AmerisourceBergen Specialty Group company and a decade in various pharmaceutical roles at Eli Lilly.

 

Roderick has an MS degree from Colorado University in Boulder and a BS, Pharmacy degree from the College of Pharmacy in Saint Louis.
